Ohio: Juvenile Court Records and Law Enforcement Records (OH-AR-8)

Records relating to an adjudication for solicitation, loitering to engage in solicitation, or prostitution can be expunged upon petition, so long as the person's participation in the act was a result of the person having been a victim of human trafficking. Ohio Rev. Code Ann. § 2151.358(E).

Procedure General
The petition must be filed with the court. For the specific procedure, see Ohio Rev. Code Ann. §§ 2151.358(E), 2953.38.

Effect
After the records have been expunged under this section, the person who is the subject of the expunged records properly can, and the court will, reply that no record exists with respect to the person upon any inquiry in the matter. Ohio Rev. Code Ann. § 2151.358(F).
