Webinar: Adopting a Housing First Approach: Using HPRP and TANF to Re-House Families in Salt Lake City

The Road Home in Salt Lake City provided Rapid Re-Housing assistance to 120 families in the first three months of implementing the HPRP and TANF funded initiative. Michelle Flynn will discuss how they forged a partnership with the state TANF agency to pilot a Rapid Re-Housing program to reduce the length of time families reside in their program’s winter overflow shelter program and how that pilot informed their current approach. Michelle will provide an overview of their program model, including rental assistance and case management strategy, and describe the lessons learned and programs refinements underway to continue their progress in ending family homelessness.
