Building strong collaborations and partnerships are the first steps to developing a reentry initiative. Essential to this process is getting the appropriate people to the table and eliciting a commitment to working together on a particular aspect of the issue. This plenary focused on identifying and recruiting key organizations and individuals, and initiating and maintaining lasting relationships in an effort to establish an effective reentry program.
