Helping people released from prison or jail find safe places to live is critical to reducing homelessness and recidivism, and making communities safer. Research has shown that people who do not find stable housing in the community are more likely to return to incarceration than those who have housing. This session focused on innovative steps communities are taking to develop housing support for recently released individuals.
