Conference Session: Lunch Plenary: Making a Difference for Families and Communities
12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

At times, it can seem as if the system of incarceration and supervision is disconnected from the individual lives it affects. During this closing plenary, A.T. Wall, director of the Rhode Island Department of Corrections, and Andres Idarraga, a student at Yale Law School who was previously incarcerated in Rhode Island, shared an inspiring example of what is possible when the system and the individual work together to achieve a successful reentry.

Speakers:

  • Andres Idarraga
  • A.T. Wall, Director, Rhode Island Department of Corrections
