Editorial: Michigan's prisoner reentry program has proved its worth

2/18/12 Detroit Free Press—Despite the rants of some prosecutors and several fixable flaws, Michigan's Prisoner Re-Entry Initiative is doing what it's supposed to do: reduce recidivism, and therefore the state's prison population, by helping parolees find jobs, housing, transportation, treatment and other services.
