Jacksonville gets grants to keep released prisoners from going back

10/19/09 The Florida Times-Union—Jacksonville is one of 15 cities to earn a $750,000 federal Second Chance Act grant that will be matched by the state, according to the state Department of Corrections. The grant will support programs available at the Jacksonville Re-Entry Center, a key component in the Jacksonville Journey anti-crime initiative.
